Micellar Water – Promotes Hydration, Moisture, Removes Water Proof & Long Wear Make-up

Micellar water comprises purified, demineralized water and micelles, which are tiny oil balls that float in the water. The micelles attract impurities on the skin’s surface, such as dirt, oil, and makeup, acting like tiny magnets. Micellar water effectively removes surface-level grime without stripping your skin’s oil, which can upset the skin’s natural balance.

Benefits of Micellar Water

Cleanses Skin

Traditional cleansers can disrupt the oils in your skin barrier and leave traces of chemicals apart, leaving your skin red, irritated, and dry. On the other hand, Micellar water cleanses the dirt and oils on top of your skin without affecting its protective barrier. This is significant because the oils in your skin barrier help maintain microbes like bacteria out, which can cause infections and irritation.

Promotes Hydration & Moisture

Micellar water doesn’t necessarily moisturize the skin, but it can clean it without stripping it of its natural moisture like other cleansers. Micellar water also contains moisturizing ingredients like glycerin, which draws water in from the air and up from the lower layers of your skin.

Treats Acne

Acne evolves when your pores become clogged by oil or bacteria, caused by inflammation, redness, and swelling. Micellar water may help reduce acne breakouts, and it is naturally effective at removing oil and debris from your skin.

Remove Your Makeup

Removing your makeup doesn’t have to be difficult, and it shouldn’t be. Micellar water is a good makeup remover because it cleans and removes makeup from the eyes and face in a single step.” It’s light and refreshing, and the tiny micelles aid in removing residue from your skin.

No Rinsing Required

You can use micellar water as a light face wash. Its consistency is lightweight, easy to apply, refreshing, and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily like some of those oil-based face washes and makeup removers. It’s so nourishing and hydrating that you don’t even have to rinse!

Tones Skin

Micellar water can be used as an all-over toner.” Micellar water draws out all the dirt and grime on the surface of your skin and rinses your pores; it is an amazing cleansing agent for your skin that does not contain the oil-stripping ingredients found in toners.

Swap Out Your Hand Sanitizer

Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are quite often drying or irritating to the skin. If traditional hand sanitizers dry out your skin, micellar water is a great alternative for cleaning your hands in a pinch.

Clean Your Makeup Brushes

Last but certainly not least, you can use micellar water as a brush cleaner. Makeup artist and beauty is made to get rid of dirt and oil, which helps eliminate all that build-up on your makeup brushes.

How to use micellar water

  • There are many micellar water’s uses, but you’ll generally need a bottle of your favorite stuff (more on that to come!) and a cotton pad. You can use micellar water daily, once in the morning and at night, to cleanse the skin and remove makeup.
  • Best results from micellar water, you will need to use cotton pads to apply it to your face. This is because the molecules in micelles are two-sided, and while one side soaks into the pad, the other, which attracts dirt and oil, reach outward to cleanse your face.
  • If you have very oily skin or wear waterproof makeup, you may need to use your regular cleanser in addition to micellar water. Because micellar water is less aggressive in removing oil than many other cleansing products, some people may find that it isn’t enough.

 As a Makeup Removal

Shake the bottle and pour some of your micellar water onto a cotton pad or ball. Softly smooth the cotton pad across your eyes, lips, and face pausing briefly over areas with the heaviest makeup. Take extra care not to scrub, rub, or pull at your skin.

To Wash Your Face or Tone it
