Add a few drops to hot water. Stir and drink. Can also steep lemongrass leaves in 2 cups of boiling hot water for a few minutes or until desired taste. Or you can purchase loose lemongrass tea or tea bags.

Simple Pain Relief Rollerball Remedy

Ingredients:

10-15 drops lemongrass Oil
5 drops clove oil (optional)
Carrier oil (argan, coconut, sesame, sweet almond, jojoba, grapeseed)
10mL glass roller ball bottle

Directions:

Add lemongrass to the roller ball container.
Top off with the carrier oil.
Shake well and use on the affected area for pain relief.

Homemade Bug Spray

Ingredients:

40 drop essential oils such as lemongrass, citronella, tea tree, eucalyptus and/or rosemary
1/2 cup witch hazel
½ cup apple cider vinegar
8 oz Glass Spray bottle

Directions:

Mix all of the ingredients in the spray bottle and shake to mix.
Spray over the body avoiding the eyes and mouth.

¼ cup baking soda

Directions:

Simple Lemongrass Foot/Body Scrub

Ingredients:

10 drops lemongrass Oil
Epsom salt
Coconut oil

Directions:

Add the lemongrass to the Epsom salt adding the coconut oil until the salt is saturated.
Scrub over feet and/or body and rinse.

Simple Lemongrass Foot Bath

Ingredients:

10 drops lemongrass Oil
Warm water

Directions:

In a bathtub or bowl, add lemongrass to warm water and stir.
Place feet into the mixture and soak for at least 10 minutes.

Make Your Own Lemongrass Oil at Home

Ingredients:

4-6 lemongrass stalks
Cheesecloth – fine
Mortar and pestle
Carrier oil – any kind that you like
2 jars
Glass container – dark

Directions:

Take 2 of the lemongrass stalks to remove the leaves
Use the mortar and pestle crush the stems to begin releasing the oil.
Fill one of the jars with your chosen carrier oil and place the crushed lemongrass stalks in it.
Leave the jar untouched in the heat and/or sunshine for at least two days to cure.
You are using the cheesecloth strain the first jar into the second jar, making sure to expel everything out of the stalks.
Repeat this process until you have your desired lemongrass scent.
Once you have your desired scent, transfer all of the oil into the dark glass container and seal, placing it in a cool, dry, and dark place.
The oil can be used and saved for at least a year.

How to Use

Chiltan Pure Essential Oils can be used topically (combined with carrier oils and moisturizers) and externally (i.e. around the home).

Add 5-7 drops to a diffuser filled with water.

Like above, but instead, use reed diffusers in a container of carrier oil with 3-5 drops of essential oil.

For Face: Dilute 1 drop of Essential Oil(e.g. Orange, Rosemary, Lemon, Lavender, Eucalyptus Oils) into 3 drops of your favourite Carrier Oil (e.g. Almond, Castor, Flaxseed, Neem, Pumpkin Oils) for the face.

For Body Massage: Dilute 15 drops of Essential Oil(e.g. Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Cedarwood, Neroli, Citronella Oils) in 50 ml with your favourite Carrier Oil (e.g. Avocado, Argan, Grapeseed, Pomegranate Oils) for the body.

Note: Put 1-2 drops of oil on your hand’s wrist to reduce anxiety and stress
